Thursday, January 05, 2012euphemism. its a new word i just learnt from someone who just came back from london... darn.... what a life. ANYWAY, what does it mean ? is it like a food that we can eat? no. is it like a thing that we can use ? no. is it a toy that we.. no. SO, nora didn't have enough brain capacity to indulge in an extra word to add to his dictionary.. so, what does it really mean anyway ?  from dictionary.com, euphemism means: the substitution of a mild, indirect, or vague expression for one thought to be offensive, harsh, or blunt. in greek, it means words of good omen. he said that to me when i was calling him a cat while stroking his chin. hahahahahhahaa, i know its not very easy nor a pleasant event to imagine two guys in doing that.. its just that he looks very cute. chubby white baby cute. don't judge me, i think babies are cute too. so, i was just thinking about what other situations can euphemism be used in.. like people saying cheese bun in replacement of #$%$^ or fart-face numbnut cringe face so how helpful is this new word to the survival of humanity ? why do people need new words with inexplicable meaning added to our vocabulary ? is there not enough words as it is already ? does it make linguistic communication more interesting ? in some sense, (common sense) less is normally more. having too many words when not all are being used is pretty useless... but what does it hurt anyway ? it doesn't hurt having a new word created every day, just to combine a string of already bombastic words so that they make sense. next time we can just say one word to mean a sentence me: ai nora: orgasmicalitical me: yeapiduppiedu nora: pathetigatorate me: awesmiccosuperficialisationism HAHAHAHAHAHAH, i cannot just absorb all that. this just might be the next break through of the century. a one word conversation that already speaks too much more than is required. then people will just not talk but use facial expressions to communicate. we will call it so-fa-cial-networking wink wink, scringe nose, twitch mole on eye lid, squeeze pimple while squirting oil and other urksome liquid on other people to tell them that they look great. hurhur... hur.. its kinda disgusting... meh... whatever. so now im too tired to think of what else to write, so im just gonna sleep. let thee euphemism boost my optimism create one legacy bottle them mysticism aron-the-washed-away-with-a-meliphagidae signing out
